As you may or may not know, Niantic has officially removed Pokemon Go support for all Rooted Android smartphones and now in order to play Pokemon Go, you need an unrooted Android smartphone. But thanks to third party developers you can now still play Pokemon Go on rooted devices but we have something which will definitely make the unrooted Android owners happy and that is you can now play Pokemon Go with GPS Joystick without rooting your Android device. I have been using this solution on this latest Pokemon Go 0.37.0 and it works perfectly.
The solution is really simple. There is an app on Google Play Store called GPS Joystick and you need to install it on your Android device. Once downloaded, you need to follow our guide.
Note: GPS Joystick is fully compatible with Android Marshmallow if you are running Lollipop or previous Android then this application may not work!
Play Pokemon Go 0.37.0 with GPS Joystick ( No Root Required)
- Install GPS Joystick Android App on your Android device.
- Once installed Go to Settings > Developer Options > Set Mock App to GPS Joystick.
- Once done, run the app and now play Pokemon Go with GPS Joystick on Unrooted Android device.
In order to download run this app you will need to get BlueStacks Emulator:
That’s it. If you have any questions do let us know in the comments.
